If you are looking for a unique cultural experience then head to the T&T Waterfront Night Market for it’s annual festival in August at the Toronto Portlands. The Toronto Night Market offers a real Asian lifestyle experience. With over 100 vendor booths the 6th annual Toronto Waterfront Night Festival offers a delectable selection of Asian theme ‘street food’ and merchandise. It may seems a bit overwhelming at firsts but the portions of Asian street food are small so that you can taste many of these delicious delicacies.
If you are a proclaimed foodie or enjoy experimenting with new foods then you will enjoying tasting such authentic Asian specialties such as Takoyaki which are ball-shaped Japanese snacks filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion and cooked in a special takoyaki pans.
On the entertainment stage they offer performances and cooking demonstrations. A midway provides family entertainment and the Sport Zones and Interactive Lifestyle Stage runs simultaneously, exhibiting health and better living attractions.
The Night Market replicates a cultural festival held in many cities and is a unique experience not to be missed. Admission is free.
