T & T Night MarketYakoyakiIf you are looking for a unique cultural experience then head to the T&T Waterfront Night Market for it’s annual festival in August at the Toronto Portlands. The Toronto Night Market offers a real Asian lifestyle experience. With over 100 vendor booths the 6th annual Toronto Waterfront Night Festival offers a delectable selection of Asian theme ‘street food’ and merchandise. It may seems a bit overwhelming at firsts but the portions of Asian street food are small so that you can taste many of these delicious delicacies.

 

If you are a proclaimed foodie or enjoy experimenting with new foods then  you will enjoying tasting such authentic Asian specialties such as  Takoyaki which are ball-shaped Japanese snacks filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion and cooked in a special takoyaki pans.

On the entertainment stage they offer performances and cooking demonstrations. A midway provides family entertainment and the Sport Zones and Interactive Lifestyle Stage runs simultaneously, exhibiting health and better living attractions.

Friday, August 14th, 6pm – Midnight
Saturday, August 15th • 4pm – Midnight
Sunday, August 16th • 4pm – 10pm

Festival Location: The parking lot of the Cherry Street T & T supermarket at 222 Cherry Street in the Toronto Portlands. We rode our bikes to the market in previous years.
