The Distillery District is made up ten streets spread out over area of thirteen acres with more than forty revitalized heritage buildings. It is believed to be the largest collection of Victoria Era industrial architecture in North America. The retail establishments within the Distillery include many art galleries, artisan studios, furniture designers, specialty boutiques, a microbrewery (Mill Street Brewery), a chocolatier, cafés, bakeries and restaurants that are all located in the restored red brick, Victorian-era buildings.
