As Toronto city ambassadors we like to have a personal experience in order to be able to recommend things to our guests. For that reason we decided to take the City Sightseeing Toronto double decker bus tour. Whether you are visiting Toronto for the first time or you have lived in Toronto for twenty years, we guarantee you will see Toronto through a new light while learning new things about Toronto.
We boarded the bus on Queens Quay in front of the Radisson Hotel. It started to rain lightly, but no fear, the staff quickly handed out disposable rain ponchos for everyone. Sitting on the top deck of the double decker bus afforded us the opportunity to capture some great city sights as we listened to our experienced tour guide as he provided us with endless interesting facts about Toronto. The bus has 24 stops and enables you hop-on-hop-off as many times as you wish to see Toronto at your own pace.
Some of the stops include; St. Lawrence Market, Distillery District, Yonge Dundas Square, Eaton Centre, Casa Loma and the Bata Shoe Museum just to mention a few. And if you can’t see everything in one day, don’t worry because your ticket is valid for 48 hours. Insider tip: one of our favorite stops is the St. Lawrence Market where you can shop for some great teas or Canadian maple syrup to take home. We recommend that you pick up one of the famous peameal sandwiches at the Carousel Bakery or the grilled squid at Buster’s Sea Cove and sit outside at one of the many tables. One of my favorite building is the historic Flatiron Building pictured here which is near the St. Lawrence Market. Be sure to stop at the Dog Fountain located just west of the Flatiron Building.
To top it all off the price of the ticket also includes a free boat cruise aboard the Serendipity Princess which is a 65 foot, 200 passenger boat that provides a narrated Toronto boat cruise of the harbour and the Toronto Islands. Hop aboard for an unforgettable view of the Toronto skyline.
Insider tip: Try to plan your day to finish off at Queens Quay to catch the last boat cruise of the day and you will be rewarded with an breathtaking view of the Toronto skyline at night and then it’s back to the Boatel for a cocktail before dinner. So leave the car in the parking lot and enjoy this incredible city bus/boat tour. We found this to be a great way to see the city and not have to worry about parking or how to get to all the attractions. We hope you enjoy it too.

I always have people asking me about ideas for things to do on their visit to Toronto, and never had mentioned this one. Thanks for sharing this, I will definitely recommend this to my customers. As a limo rental company, I get a lot of people in that are not local, so this will definitely be on my list of recommended attractions now!
